A new report has found that following a divorce, many couples are having to remain living together due to the rising price of houses. Only 1 in 6 married couples are able to buy their own house, with many being forced to downsize or remain together following divorce. Furthermore, the price of divorce itself has risen 17% in the past few years. This is making things even more complicated and dangerous for those divorcing due to domestic abuse.
