The Three Strands Of Limitless

Strand 1: WEB: Women Exploring Business Programme

WEB course is designed to inspire women to set up their own business.  It is an eight-day practical programme (one day per week, over eight weeks) that provides women with the tools to set up a service or develop a product.  They learn about all aspects of self-employment including marketing, finance, tax, selling, marketing, design, image etc.  On day seven they will have the opportunity to go out into the community and sell the product or service they have developed.  We will hire a market stall for them to do this.  The programme also allows them to achieve two Agored Cymru Qualifications, at a range of academic levels.

Strand 2: WISH: Women’s Integrated Support Hub

WISH will offer individually tailored support packages to build confidence and self-esteem.  WISH offers a large range of courses across different subject areas.

LIMITLESS is dedicated to providing a learner-centred curriculum and we are happy to deliver training based on the wishes and suggestions of women themselves.

Examples include: Volunteering, Salsa dancing, Community Development, Jewellery Making, Mindfulness, Pottery, Photography, Retail, Education, Customer Service, Social Care, Administration work, Working in the Third Sector, Sports and Leisure,

Criminal Justice, Catering, Heritage, Media and IT, Entrepreneurship, Arts & Crafts, and the Environment

WISH is open to all women regardless of their backgrounds, needs or abilities. The courses range from Entry Level up to Level 4.

Strand 3: Qualification: Supporting the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Sector through Volunteering

LIMITLESS is working with the VAWDASV Team in Welsh Government and Agored Cymru to develop a qualification at levels 2 and 3 (Award and Extended Award) aimed at volunteers working in the Domestic Abuse and or Sexual Violence Sector. This will include survivors and ex-service users but will also be available to others who are interested in getting into support work.  We hope that it will complement the plans of the VAWDASV team to develop a National Survivor Engagement Framework.

LIMITLESS will aim to support its participants with:

  • up-skilling,
  • a wide range of accredited modules and qualifications,
  • an online learning portal
  • increasing self-confidence and self-esteem,
  • starting up in business/self-employment,
  • promotion of women in the workplace,
  • increasing digital literacy,
  • female participation in non-traditional and gender-specific areas of work,
  • the reduction of stereotyping.
